3D Tolerance Information (PMI)
The tolerance information (Product Manufacturing Information (PMI)) contained in the 3D model is directly extracted and adopted into the CAM recommendation (STEP AP242 required). With STEP formats 203 and 214, the tolerance specifications can be attached and edited manually on the CAD model.

If you don’t have STEP AP242 models, you can attach tolerance information, also called Product Manufacturing Information (PMI), manually to the CAD model in up2parts.
Information on surfaces, edges, fits, threads and dimensional tolerances can be manually added to geometry, for example.
Tools can be uploaded to up2parts through CSV or XML import or using the ToolsUnited interface.
